We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our UK Mid Market Sales Org. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth, managing a team of inside sales representatives, and collaborating with other departments to achieve overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing i sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages continuous improvement and professional development.
Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
Collaborate with the executive team to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Sales Operations:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales team, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Utilize CRM tools and sales analytics to track, measure, and report on key performance metrics.
Identify process improvements and implement best practices to optimize sales processes.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and initiatives that drive customer engagement and lead generation.
Training and Development:
Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
Stay abreast of industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques, and share insights with the team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Communicate effectively with the executive team to provide updates on sales performance and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role you have:
3+ years experience leading a team in enterprise software sales or equivalent
Experience managing managers a plus
Experience leading successful mid market sales in the B2B and SaaS market
Experience overachieving on goals
Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate effectively
A passion for coaching and developing earlier in career sales teams
